Default Insurance

I got my insurance from Collectibles Insurance. Their rates are reasonable and it was really easy to sign up.

Just did a quick Google search and came up with a lot of great info.

I assume the members above me have likely already looked into things thoroughly, and made their decision based on that research, but I was quite surprised there is that much to it.

Default Excuse a Dumb Question

My collection has normally been very volatile - i.e. I'm always adding or upgrading.

Am I correct in assuming that collectibles insurance should only be considered for those items which you intent to keep long term?

I just got a quote from the company y'all have mentioned - to include all my vintage graded cards and my Arthur-K-Miller painting. Seems very reasonable, but my situation may change and I may want or need to sell some of the graded cards.

Recommendations?

Default think

I think when you renew at 1 year mark you can adjust the value of your collection, or send in updates to them throughout the year if you want as to any major changes, etc.
