I actually don't mind this listing at all. Looks NM, if graded will come back only authentic, measures short. Aside from not specifically saying it's trimmed, she has told the truth. You will get a nice looking green cobb that will end up in a PSA A altered holder. Bid accordingly.

Unless the scan has been photo shopped and the card doesn't actually look NM.

Other than that Mrs. Lincoln how was the play. Carefully crafted bullshit.

Most, maybe 99% of her listings are total BS. This one at least she is clearly saying the card won't grade and measures short. Apparently after it was sold and returned 4 times. But if I were bidding on this card I would know what I was getting from the description. This is unusual from the battlefield listings I have seen in the past that are clearly designed to deceive bidders.

The negatives for the PSA graded cards disturbs me. Yes, I realize they seller is doing some nefarious stuff. HOWEVER, why are buyers leaving negatives on PSA cards!?!?!?!?!??!!?!?

I would say even with a graded card someone can photoshop the colors to make it much more eye appealing. Graded or not you should not alter the photos of the product you are selling.

You can smooth over certain types of defects as well as enhance colors and eye appeal. There have been quite a few threads over the years on this.

If it wasn't designed to deceive someone, she would just tell the truth, that it was trimmed. That she doesn't tells me it is designed to deceive, although perhaps less so than other listings.

I think we mostly agree on this issue in general and are splitting hairs on the Cobb. I think battlefield is horrible for our hobby and should be banned from ebay. I hope no one took my comments as a defense of her business practices.

In general on any raw card listing if a seller says a card won't get a numerical grade, and measures short, I know one of two things. They know the card is trimmed, or its been submitted and came back trimmed or min size zero and can't receive a grade. This is close enough for me, and if I were still interested I would bid what I feel a nice psa A is worth.

+1 - Very deceptive but maybe not enough to get the boot from ebay. Can anyone imagine what their email inbox and ebay inbox must look like with all of their problems? I might give a few bucks just to look at those....

If hundreds of negatives for intentionally deceptive listings isn't going to get her the boot on ebay, nothing else is either. As long as she offers a return, she is good.

In addition the reputation is so bad, that some buyers probably take advantage of it. "i never got the card' etc etc

At a grand if it is trimmed and not too photo-shopped it might not be a bad deal. It is a sweet looking card.
