Default Is Mastro's website down?

Posted By: Paul

Is it just me, or is everyone finding it impossible to get onto Mastro's website now, when it really counts?

Pretty lame. Maybe next time they can charge 100 bucks for a catalogue and buy some more bandwith.

That was my thought also, Murcerfan. It will be real interesting to see if any cards are no longer for sale....

What time was this auction supposed to close? When I finally got on at 9:01 PM CDT it said it was closed. I tried to log in and that took about 2 minutes. Then I tried to look at my watched auctions and that took at least 2-3 minutes. I finally gave up after clicking on a category and my browser timed out.

I got pissed, took a shower to relax, came back, and we're up and fine again. Mastro is back on.

I was set to bid on an item at 8:57 CDT, but that's when the website went down. It closed at 9:00 CDT.

Steve,

I think that's one of the reasons the auction houses encourage you to place your initial bid well in advance of auction close.

I refer to 9PM CDT to 11PM CDT to the "extended drinking period" wherein Mastro is certain all bidders are sitting by their computers, bored out of their wits, consuming their adult beverage of choice - in turn assuring all bidders reach that crucial .08 to .12 BAC to maximize returns for consignors.
