I finally have to part with the baseball cards I obtained at collector shows in the early 80s (all Hall of Famers from 1909 to 1951 - T206, Goudey, etc). The first set’s auction on EBay ends TOMORROW NIGHT (10/10/23) in the Probstein123 store. Since these have all been undisturbed in plastic since 1984, and I haven’t purchased a baseball card for nearly 40 years, I wasn’t aware of contemporary grading procedures, PSA, etc, hence the bulk of these are currently at a fraction of the price they would be at if I had them officially graded.

But there’s some amazing stuff here: a 1948 Leaf Jackie Robinson, 1933 Goudey Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig, a 1909 E92 Honus Wagner, dozens of T 206s from the Christy Mathewsons (3) to the Walter Johnsons (2) to Cy Young, Tris Speaker, Nap Lajoie, Mordecai Brown, to Tinkers to Evers to Chance, plus cards I had autographed by the players (Luke Appling, Bill Dickey, Bill Terry (2), Carl Hubble, Ted Lyons, and Bob Feller). Most of the cards are in typical t206/Goudey shape, and some are in poor condition, but there are quite a few in very beautiful condition (Ed Walsh, Rube Waddell portrait, Eddie Collins, Johnny Evers (with bat), Joe Tinker (hands in knees), John McGraw (glove at hip), Sam Crawford, etc). These are some amazing cards and I hope they find a good home. They’re the real deal but since they’re not graded, you will find some real bargains here if you care to take a peek.
