Default Tough Len Koenecke 2x4 Cut Died 1935 Dodgers Giants Very Tough

Len Koenecke was a troubled man. He had a severe problem with alcohol which caused him to not last very long on any one team, and most likely prolonged his stay in the minors. Once in the majors, his stay was tragically cut short.

He was kicked off the Dodgers and had to catch a commerical flight back to New York. He proceeded to drink way too much and became unruly on the flight. He was restrained and chained to his seat until the flight was over. He was dragged unconscious to sleep it off in the airport. Soon thereafter he boarded another flight, this time getting into a confrontation mid flight where he attempted to take over control of the plane. In an effort to stop him from doing so, the pilot and a passenger hit him over the head with a fire extinguisher. When the plane made an emergency landing, Koenecke was already dead.

The offered 2x4 cut is a very tough to find example of his signature.

I am asking $230 deliverd.
