Default Back after a long hiatus

Hello all!
I’m a former member of the forum from mover about a decade ago and I’m glad that I recognize a few screen names still! Had a lot of personal life type stuff that had me put my vintage collecting on hold, but things have started to improve and I’m starting my tobacco card collection again from the beginning. Mostly working on mid grade T207’s and lower (Vg and under) T206s. Hope to get to know you all again and I wish you luck in your collections! Happy thanksgiving.

Brandon

Thanks guys! Definitely doing my research on what good prices are. Seems things are a bit “different” than they were a few years back!

Welcome back, Brandon. If by different, you mean crazy more expensive, then you would be right.
Nothing wrong with lower grade cards.
Good luck in the quest.

Hey Leon! For sure! I think that’s why I restated my collection with the T207 set. Don’t think I’ll complete it, but it’s “small enough” and semi affordable in lower grades for me to feel good about getting close lol. Plus like the T206 set, there’s plenty of subsets to work on even if not trying to finish a full set. Loving catching up on all I’ve missed in the last several years!

Honestly it’s been so long I don’t remember! I think either Browncow75 or Bbrown75. Tried searching the boards for those user names but nothing came up though! lol

EDIT: found the “advanced search” button and it was Browncow75. Last post was 10.5 years ago!

How Now, ColtWinchester. Welcome back, and good luck with your version of the T207 set. About a little over half the T207 are readily available, then the rest are progressively hard and tough cookies. Definitely check out some of the T207 threads on this board, there are some resident experts and a lot of great info in them.

I had some time, and here are some links to good T207 threads I found:

Awesome stuff, thank you Brian! Really appreciate the help. Managed to pick up a pretty tough piece that I’ll be posting in the pickups thread as soon as a receive it. I “think” I have a game plan as to how I’m going to approach the set that’ll keep me happy even if I hit a snag in one way or another,

Thanks again to everyone for the warm welcome back into the hobby snd the forum!

Brandon

Welcome back! I must say your name sounds like a merger between two of America's largest gun manufacturers.
