Default Atlanta Braves tickets

Any Atlanta Braves season ticket holders? Or maybe just a fan that might know... Did the Braves print season tickets this year? They did last year for the new ballpark but previous to that they did not. Anyone know?

I don't know for sure, but I have to believe that they would.

Not sure why they didn't the last year at Turner Field...even as bad as they have been, it sounds like that was a missed revenue stream.

I have mulled over purchasing season tickets in the past, but, so far, it's not in my budget.

I did attend the last game at Turner Field and the first one at Suntrust...and those were expensive for both games.

There are several teams who do not print season tickets. Mostly it saves money on their end. I think the Braves stopped after 2014, but in 2017 they printed again because of the new ballpark. I'm just trying to figure out if I need to buy box office tickets this year to have a physical ticket from the game.

I read an interesting article that the reason some teams decided to stop printing hard tickets was because of fraud. You could sell a hard ticket but if you print the ticket at home the hard ticket becomes invalid. Unsuspecting buyers would buy the hard ticket and be denied entry to the event.

With soft copy tickets if you post for sale online (stubhub, etc) then the buyer gets a brand new bar code while the season tickets are no longer in the sellers account so they can't double sell.

If you buy hard tickets at the box office or have hard tickets from a team that still prints tickets, once you enter them online (at least at stubHub) and sell them, your hard ticket is invalidated.
