Default Women in the background of cards

This isn't meant to be a sexist post in any way, but going through my collection over the years I've noticed that there aren't a whole lot of cards that have women visible in the background. It's usually kids and guys.

I know there are cards OF women, but finding them in the stands seems rare. Any examples? The first one I thought of was the awkwardly cropped Rod Scurry card from 1981 Fleer

Wink No girls allowed?

Ok, it's a very obscure set, but it has them in the foreground as well as the background.

I think that might be a new record.

I have very low expectations but even I usually expect we get a few posts in before somebody makes it weird.

Some of my favored boxing cards have fans included in the art. Here's Tug Wilson training at a park with a woman on the right side in her white dress and cool hat (everyone has a cool hat in these old cards) watching the bout. Got to go out in your finest threads to watch the fights.

Smile In the previous century...

Here are a couple of WS cards from the 1965 Topps set. They happened to feature action at home plate, so the images included the grandstand crowd.
I suspect that Topps photo editors were not particularly interested in using crowd shots in the cards generally. And, you may be right that women were in some cases intentionally edited out - we're dealing with ancient times in society for the most part. In the past, women were excluded from many male-dominated fields, even if unconsciously by photo editors.

73 Bench. Two women, upper left, including what looks like a cleavage shot and plus you've got the bonus of a crotch shot top center, although I think that might be a dude.

I knew 73 topps wouldn't let me down!

Undisputable examples are surprisingly hard to find.

Had to use Mr. Peabody's Wayback Machine to come up with another pre-war card (from my collection) :
