Default Early baseball book by R.G.Knowles

Looking for more information on an early baseball book by R.G.Knowles and Richard Morton from 1898. The Oval Series of Games entitled Baseball. Rutledge and Sons Publishing NY and Manchester. Cover is separated and overall not great shape, are the illustrations of some value to collectors? Interested to hear your opinion on this book.

Default Baseball for the English

I am not familiar with the 1898 edition. The original edition was 1896, published in London as an explanation of the American game, and to explain what the authors perceived as the rising popularity in Engand. It is a fairly tough book to find, and as a 19th century title it is collectible. Please do not remove the illustrations and attempt to sell them separetly. If I recall they are mostly of English players anyway, although I think there should be one of Harry Wright. I am a supporter of keeping books intact whenever possible.
