I got my first and only Novelty Cutlery PC today. The card is dated to 1907 for some reason even though this specific shot is believed to happen in fall of 1909 and pretty widely accepted as fact so I cant imagine these were produced in 1907. Also a couple more p/us from the fall I don't think I ever posted.

Is that Weiser Wonder fresh to the hobby? Jeff Prizner has been keeping track of all the known Weiser WaJo pcs.

Thanks everyone, have all of the cards out tonight.

Hank - Great book, just about finished with it an have thoroughly enjoying reading about your grandfather. The card is not new to the hobby, it use to be Leons I believe. I believe there are four from this production know, with the blue tint, and then the single 1907 PC.

Nice Steven. I tried to bring it down a little so others could post without shame after I showed off my beaters and you go blow it up again. Micah, you too with your Smoky Joe CJ!

Very nice acquisitions.

Jaw dropping pick ups Steve!

Wow! This has been an insane month of pickups on the board overall! (not even a ton of posts, but serious quality tough cards in the thread!)

So, Heritage ended tonight, which means more November pick-ups. I hate to follow Stephen’s parade of awesomeness, but someone has to (the brown old mill is my second one)

Picked up the 1908 Boston Red Sox Foldout Postcard from Huggins & Scott. This has been a long-time target of mine as I love the uniforms that year. Very happy this AM!

liked the first Polo Grounds so much when it came, I decided to go for another. Not exactly CJ's but as a noob to the teens, these are enjoyable to look at.

haha, agreed on the pose! Trying to decide how deep I want to get into 1914. literally started just 2 weeks ago, have a Matty on its way in a 9 as well to match the Baker and Honus. Need to decide if I'm building the set, or just going for Key guys, or if I'm just done after dipping my toes in.

I found that the Game Sets are a relatively inexpensive way to get the bigger stars...the 1913 National Game Grover Alexander, for example, is listed as his RC.

I feel like a nice looking K Bats like that is right on par as far as coolness () compared to the other cards you are almost embarrassed to follow. Nice pick up!!

Michael, Jay, hats off - great pickups. I was an underbidder (at least I had placed a bid) on all three of those cards- because they are each awesome! Michael, that Tinker is tough. And Jay, you are amassing one heck of a rare back Cobb collection- perhaps post what you got?

Who doesn’t love t206??!!

This arrived today, my first win from an auction house. I'm tickled with it, as I wasn't sure I was going to be able to get one in my budget, especially presenting as nicely as it does. But it really is one of the grails for me, and I made sure to have my two young sons open the box with me. Moment to remember!

Not Cobby or Matty or WaJo or Wags, just two French cards with relatively little monetary value that I have looked for for a long long time and wasn't confident of ever finding.
