Default Deane Studio Cabinet

Posted By: Donald Johnson

Deane Studio Cabinet, Houston, TX of an unknown player, late 1880's. Purchased from a Lew Lipset auction. Lipset said this cabinet used to reside in the famous Halper Collection. $135 delivered. Paypal preferred. Thanks for looking!

This may be a stupid question but how do you know it is a baseball player?

Bryan, just going off of Lew Lipset's word. This is the original auction description:

Cabinet of Unknown 19th Century baseball player • Deane Studio

This is a baseball player whose identify I once knew but have lost. It originally was in a large lot of Cabinets in the Halper Collection.

The cabinet shows a Houston, Texas photographer, has some soiling at the top and a clean back. It originally was in a large lot of Cabinets in the Halper Collection.
