This is obviously the most hilarious Mantle item ever. I did not post it here due to it's content, but It is worth a view(not for kids)

This one was signed in person for my 13 year old dad in 1950, when Mantle's Joplin played in Enid.

I acquired this piece over 10 years ago. I had never seen this photo before, which was neat since this is how old Mick was when I was a boy. Plus my name is Mark too so it was meant to be. Anyways, was curious if others have seen this photo before.

Most Mantle collectors will recognize this shot with him sliding into third base with Brooks Robinson...I've even seen signed examples over the years with Brooks adding the inscription "Out" and Mantle adding "Safe."

This 8x10 was the first autograph I ever paid for at a show in Valley Forge in 1984 and I believe Mantle's signature was like $10 (I later added Brooks at a car dealership)..

Anyways, I picked up this Wire Photo (sans the watermark) off eBay a few years ago taken a second or two afterwards and now it can be confirmed that the Mick was indeed safe.
