Default More Custom Cut "Frankenstein" Auto'ed Cards (Ruth & Cobb)

I know there was a thread for these a few months ago, not sure if anyone saw this one yet. Personally I would much rather they just leave them as a cut slabbed auto.

Looks like they cut up a contract of some sort, another document lost forever. I do think that the card looks alright. Why on earth is it slabbed in a wax pack slab, that looks atrocious.

That's just obscene. Not plain obscene, but [CENSORED] obscene.

If there is a positive, at least they didn't cut the auto into two....

Topps could make a really attractive redemption card, and some type of presentation case that the card could be placed in with the document.

Not expensive and preserves the document.

I'm pretty sure these were NOT a Topps Chewing Gum creation. This dude is making these in his home with cut Ty Cobb signatures. Look at his other auctions, he has another one that only has only Cobb's last name signature on it. It appears the one with just the last name is also PSA/DNA certified... which leads to the question why in the h*** would PSA/DNA certify this homemade frankenstein job even it is a legit signed last name, as a last name alone does not an autograph make IMO?

Also, as if this shady guy isn't bad enough it appears all the items he "sold" over the last few weeks are again in his inventory. Not sure why anyone would do that but nonetheless they weren't really sold.

Mindboggling!

Jim D, you may well have given this guy an idea to take his butchery to a new level... hope he doesn't read this site. If we soon see a couple of Cobb cards, one with a cut "Ty" and one with a cut "Cobb", then I'll suspect he does read here.

His stuff reminds me of the guy who sells cut photos from 1909 and 1910 Spalding Guides. He mentions in his listing that it's from a damaged guide. Well I wonder who "damaged" it...
