Hi Barry

Correct me if I'm wrong....it was good ole American 1950's Rock-n-Roll ....especially Buddy Holly and the Crickets....that originally inspired The Beatles ?

And don't forget Chuck Berry and Elvis. John Lennon is quoted as saying "before Elvis there was nothing" or something pretty close to that.
