Default 52 Mantle on Ebay

Read the story behind this card.

Fellow collectors remarks:
Take a 1952 (to 1956) large card, trim it down to fit into a holder for a post-1956 card, use the label for a cracked out large card and voila! Instant Success.

Hmmmm... This guy has been on eBay since Dec 2009, has done 2 sales with 2 different people for a total of $36 and has 100% feedback of 2

Default 52 Mantle

There are 407 cards in the set. I might wait until his feedback was 100 % after that many transactions. But, on the other hand , he is a 52toppsguy....

I have both versions of the card and would/did go through impeccable dealers in both cases.

Sorry OP for taking this off topic. Al, just wondering if you were still working on any projects? You have such an impressive collection of oddball, regular issue, etc., and curious whether there has been anything that has alluded you or whether you were turning you focus to something else? Also curious whether you consider the Venezuelan cards and OPC cards Topps products for purposes of your collection?

Hey! There's an idea. I bet nobody ever suggested that he do that.

(I've suggested 12 jillion times that he collect OPC cards, but he keeps dragging his heels)

Bob-- I have told you at least a million times not to exaggerate.

And the suggestion seems somehow much more reasonable coming from Best than you anyway
