Default Stanley Frank Musial

Stan Musial's signature is easier than others when it comes to detecting forgeries (plus, he signed a ton of stuff anyways). But I have seen quite a few full name signatures (Stanley Frank Musial) out there.

Does anybody know if the "e" missing on his name is something he commonly did? Every record I see online, the "e" is definitely part of "Stanley" (vs "Stanly") but was just wondering if omitting the 'e' when he signed stuff was an oversight by him or something to be weary of.

The ball pictured for example, looks like "Stanly" instead of "Stanley", but otherwise, the writing definitely looks to be in his hand.

Any thoughts?

Here are a couple authenticated baseballs and have both don't have the "e" as you note.

My name is Alex but when I sign things in a rush it looks like "Alx"

Sure, I understand that. Even all the letters in my name are definitely not visible in my signature, but Musial's is usually very carefully signed and it was odd that he would quite often leave out the "e" when you can clearly make out the rest of his name. But I guess that's just pretty much the way he signed.

Thanks for the sharing the pics. There have only been a few examples I've seen where he did include the 'e'. I just thought it was a bit odd since his signature is not usually rushed.
