Default What year was the E102 Set of 25 released?

What year was the E102 Set of 25 released?

I have seen grading company labels that have shown 1908 E102, 1909 E102 and 1910 E102.

The following sites say:

VCP says 1908.
Beckett says 1910
Old Cardboard says 1909
SCD says 1909

Does anyone really know?

Howard,

Here is a good thread with the explaining the dates. In summary, likely either late 09 or 10. http://www.net54baseball.com/showthread.php?t=141680

Thanks for the info. Maybe the labels and listings should just say 1909-10 E102.

Well, they used to say 1908 and everyone thought Cobby bat leaning was his rookie. Still wish I knew who distributed them?

Nice photos of the 1908 and 1909 . How about one for 1910?
