Default My latest pickup

Picked this up recently. Very happy with it! Excited to have it, and have been looking for awhile for just the right one. I bought the card, not the holder. I thought it may even be a touch under graded. Just cell phone pics, but in case it's hard to tell, no creases, wrinkles, or stains. What do you guys think?

Congrats! That is a nicely centered one and while the borders and edges have some wear, it's not too bad. Not rough cut either. I do like the SCG cases in general: but still not used to big "3."

Thank you. I actually don't mind the new SGC holders. I know what you mean tho about the large numeric grade. I feel like this card still has room to grow as well, especially centered copies.

A card I'd definitely love to own myself! Congrats.

As far as a bump goes, I honestly don't see it. Imo, SGC grades tough/fair/consistently so I don't see that one getting a bump. I also don't think PSA would graded that one any higher either, but those are just my opinions.

I don't think it would be worth sending it in because of the corners, but it's a great looking card for the grade. Congrats on the nice pickup.

Thanks, Dale. I'm happy with the card and it presents well. That's what is most important to me. I agree with you, the grade is fair and I appreciate the fact that SGC grades a little tougher. I didn't think maybe a 3.5 was out of the question, but I try not to get hung up on that. Obsessing over grading zaps the fun out of the hobby, IMO. The card will stay right where it is. It's a privilege to add it to my collection

Great card and excellent overall strategy. That example has great eye appeal for a 3. Well bought sir.

Thanks, Kris. I appreciate the kind words. I know there is a huge difference between a 3 and a 4, value wise. Especially on this card. But for my collection, if the 4 is off center and the 3 is dead nuts, I'll take the 3 all day.
