The description for this item indicates that it is a notebook cover - descriptions in other auctions indicated that these were post cards. Whatever it is, it's certainly very attractive. I don't think there's any definitive proof that it's a notebook cover, but that's prevailing, and probably resonable, opinion. I've followed and bid in a few of Scott Gaynor's auctions, and my feeling is that he does a good job in describing his lots.

...because it was described as a "notebook cover", rather than as a "post card", as these have been described in the past. I thought maybe this would give additional insight into the origins of these items.
