Default Nothing....

This is surely a high price compared with recent sales.

The 3 things it has going for it: The inscription of Cy 62 is fairly uncommon and the auto is a beauty on the sweetspot with TPG cert.

Those 3 factors are obviously important to at least 2 bidders. I agree though that it is lofty.

The william white ball in itself is difficult to find in Pristine condition. This one looks pretty good. Many Drysdale (white) balls are spotted like a raccoon or have more oil spots than a garage floor with a GM automobile. I also have never seen the "62 cy" inscription ever come up for auction on Idiot-BAY. A Nice Drysdale ball would tend to go for 150.00-250. I'd add another 100.00 for inscription. add to it the Probstein123 shill bidders and you have yourself a 600.00 ball.

I know who bought it and he was collecting Cy inscription baseball and claimed this was toughest of any player available and the first he had seen of that inscription.

Well, if he only shops on eBay or has been working on his CY collection for only a year or two, then his statement is true. Not really a $500+ ball.
