This thread is in response to Dave S's request. I think I accidentally deleted it....

I did post participation numbers in the middle of a thread in the last few weeks but it's easy to post again...and remember unique IP's could be one person on two computers which would equal 2.....though the weekends are most likely very close to all being unique.....I think it's safe to say we have a few new folks joining and posting and a few lurkers that are coming out of the dugout.....

Thanks for the numbers (and so fast too). They're interesting. I think you're right, the increase in posts are probably a result of 1) new contributors finding this board and 2) 'lurkers' becoming comfortable enough to post more often. Thanks, Dave

If I remember correctly we are up about 30% over a few years ago..Don't know about earlier than that.....Remember, when this site was created, it wasn't to get bigger...it was only to keep our little niche in the loop.....That also is the reason the web address has never been changed.....regards

Just this year there is just under 2650 threads that have been started,you have to go back 53 pages to see Jan 1st.

Last year there was almost 4000 different threads.Thats amazing theres that much to talk about when the subjects are all old news
