Default Coaches corner wish list

If you could ask the Roaches for your one great item, the one you would pay anything for, what would it be?
For me it would be the signed draft of the Gettysburg Address, the one with the crossed out line "whoopee, we beat those rebel butts on this field." with a COA from whatever flavor of the month they choose.

The letter Abraham Lincoln wrote to a friend on April 14, 1865, where he says "I will be in touch with you first thing tomorrow, Mrs. Lincoln and I are heading tonight to the theatre."

Ok, not as crazy as the others since it's at least possible.

That's possible isn't it?

I am sure they can get that Chilean piece from the same consignor that they got the Titanic crewmen piece.
Who sent that one to you Lee?

A baseball signed by Lee Harvey Oswald signed "I didn't shoot John F. Kennedy", as homage to those nonsensical Pete Rose (and Bob Feller) balls.

Default multi-signed baseball

I would like a multi-signed baseball with all of the ring-bearers:

Sauron
Isildur
Sméagol/Gollum
Bilbo Baggins
Tom Bombadil
Frodo Baggins
Samwise Gamgee

as long as we are talking fantasy pieces.

In the realm of "sure, it's possible" ( a la a rock signed by Los 33), how about a letter from Mr. Pipp;

"Dear Mom,

Have a headache today and won't play. Be back in lineup tomorrow,

love, Wally"

An apple that comes signed by Adam AND Eve (can't guarantee authenticity of Eve) like they couldn't guarantee Eve like their Bonnie and Clyde, where STAT could not authenticate Bonnie (for some reason)...Softball signed by every guest on the Titanic with chunk of ice berg...and I know they have sold a bunch of Darwin cuts, but one that says "Religeon, hooey!". Fun thread.

Regards,

Larry

A cigarette butt signed by the smoking baby:
"DanC made me do it."
The exemplars from the authentication are what I would like to see on that one.

I actually signed up with them to register as a bidder. Did that about 2-3 weeks ago. Then sent them an email asking if when I win an item and if I should get it authenticated by SGC or PSA and they tell me it's no good, would I get my money back.

2-3 weeks later, they have yet to reply.

Now that's some Customer Service.

Default I was hoping they has these

1. An Honus Wagner signed Honus Wagner T206 with a Ty Cobb back and the photocopied PSA/DNA cert to go with it.

2. The ball that struck and killed Ray Chapman on August 16, 1920 at Polo Grounds. Also I would like the black armband that manager Tris Speaker wore in remembrance of Chapman. Oh they won the World Series that year so I guess the trophy would be nice to see on the auction site.

I wouldn't mind owning Moses's craft of bulrushes, maybe framed with a cut autograph.

[By the way, Christopher Morales lives in a neighborhood adjoining my own. His is nicer, showing I guess that forensic experts do better than bureaucrats.]

Many people consider this to be the Holy Grail of the entire hobby.
The Bobby Thomson HR baseball.
It is an Official Natl League baseball with no inscription, no signature.
Lee says it is THE BALL and we of course believe him.

Jon, I think it would be better if they had both halves of the jello box. With cut sigs of all involved and framed with a line of Radium paint.

I always thought the Gospel of John, signed by all four of the gospel authors would be a nice piece, or maybe a silver coin signed by Judas.
