Default Holiday cards from the past..

Happy Holidays to all of Net54. This time of year I like when I come accross Holiday cards from some of my Favorite teams. This was the first one I ever bought. Although a Yankee Fan through and through. There was something about pulling Johnny Bench's card in 1969 that made me look him up and follow his career. It was a Miserable fall for me in 1976 when the Big Red Machine made quick work of my Yankees. But the hope that came with opening day 1977 was rewarded. It was alot of fun being a Baseball fan in the 1970's
Here is my Holiday card from the 1970 Cincinnati Reds.. please have a Joyful Holiday season and please share your Holiday cards from any Sports team. I have a couple earlier ones I will dig out..

I have been a "Friends" member of the Hall of Fame since 1987...they sent me Christmas cards from 2001 thru 2019...I guess they stopped in 2020 during Covid.

Not a card, but Christmas themed.

Default Walter Johnson 1940's signed Christmas card

Happy holidays to everyone on net54!

I have posted this in the past, but WaJo's Christmas card to his neighbor is still one of my favorites.

This card was originally found in the wild taped into Robert Treat's 1940's Wajo biography entitled "Walter Johnson- King of Pitchers"

Wowser!

The Big Train really took his time, making that one look elegant. That's a show-stopper!
