Unhappy R.I.P. Lemmy, Meadowlark Lemon and Jim O'Toole

Lemmy from Motorhead passed away today. He just turned 70 Christmas Eve. Also Globetrotter star Meadowlark Lemon at 83 as well as Reds pitcher Jim O'Toole. They say bad things come in 3's, but why so fast?

Default Lemmy

Really bummed about Lem. Was hoping to get to see him live before he retired.
A true rock icon. The best metal bass player ever. Truly unique and will be missed by myself and many others.
RIP

Old folks, like me, who were fortunate enough to watch the Harlem Globetrotters back in the 1950's - 1970's when Meadow George Lemon III (a/k/a Meadowlark Lemon) was probably their best attraction will enjoy reading these 3 relatively short pieces from the Washington Post:

https://www.washingtonpost.com/sport...cea_story.html

https://www.washingtonpost.com/enter...1fa_story.html

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/...ns-hoops-camp/

What I learned from reading these pieces is that Meadowlark was wonderful human being, in addition to being a wonderful basketball talent.
