Default Best way to sell my 1956 Topps PSA collection

Posted By: Chris

I am interested in selling about 40 or so of my 1956 Topps cards. Most are PSA 7s with a hand full of PSA 8s. Most are commons, but have a few HOFs. I want to sell these so I can help build my tobacco card collection. I did my first sale off eBay, but wanted to ask all of you what the best way to unload these cards--is eBay the way to go, consign?, or through message boards. Any advice or opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Chris,
Give me a call or send me an e-mail. I own part of a shop in Vegas. If you would send me a list I will make you an offer for pre-war trade or cash...

Regards,
Nick

Chris, I'd sell them one at a time off ebay. More eyeballs, the prices realized are higher than the auction houses for cards of this ilk and there is no juice to pay.

I agree with Jeff. And BSoxFan, that 2003 posting date is surely in error, no?

Not an error at all, I dont know why this was bumped but NICK IN VEGAS hasn't posted in ages and used to post alot during the early years of the forum. So since he hasnt posted in a few years or so the date he made the post has to be the right date which was 2003.

right date, newbie responded to a 2 year old thread.

To all new newbies, PLEASE read the link about the forum and what it is about. I think newbies are great but know what you are getting into.

Sometimes when you search "vintage baseball cards" in a search engine it brings up a several year old thread on this board. Obviously that happened and got responded to. Unless someone is in a time warp...

Let's not do the time warp again.

Glenn- it's just a jump to the left....and a step to the right....put your hands on your hips......
