One of the benefits of (formerly) working for a public utility in MA was that I had access to many addresses and phone numbers...I got Yaz's address...sent him a card with an sase and got it back within 4 days....awesome!

Pretty sure that is illegal. You can't solicit customers on behalf of the company (which you didn't do) and I believe you cannot use information from your company that isn't public record for personal gains (I believe they make you sign an NDA). But thats just me being jealous |

Scott,
Put me down as also loving that VanderMeer photo -- that's the kind of thing that really sets your collection apart. I also really like the boot drawing on the back -- if you frame it I would go with double-sided glass. Greg |

Not exactly an autograph but I picked up this photo of The Babe last night. I love it. He's signing bats while in the military for other soldiers stationed around the country. The tags on the bats have the names of different bases on them.
The best part about the photo though is that it was taken on July 22, 1926. Exactly 59 years to the day before I was born. |

He's signing bats while in a military uniform. He was never in the military.
