Default t206 Ty Cobb Red Graded 8.5 and no interest?

Posted By: Joann

Now that this has ended I can ask.

Any reason this was so roundly ignored? Scans are indistinct, the text appears to be crowded from what you can tell, and maybe a teeny short top to bottom? That's all I could come up with. But I may not have noticed these things if I hadn't seen that no one I recognize was in the bidding list. Was it b/c of the grading company? Everyone already have a NR MT Cobb Red? lol. Or was it buy-the-card-and-not-the-holder?

I would guess that most people believe that the cobb is trimmed.

I would be very suspicious of a high dollar card like that in a CSA holder. If it is real and untampered with, why not send it to PSA, SGC, or GAI? In any of those holders, the card would have brought multiple times what it was bid up to in a CSA holder.
