Default Advice on Walter Johnson signed baseball

Need help with this Walter Johnson signed baseball, there are no other markings on the ball. Yall think it is real?

At first glance, I thought it looked ok. The more I look at it, I don't think so. I'm sure you'll get some feedback from others, but I would say no. Upon letter by letter, there was a few things that don't look right to me. Also, it appears the ball was signed over where the scuff was. I would assume the ball would be signed, then sprayed, then chip or scuff off with the signature.

Looks very good to me for a number of reasons. Strange inscription, but he did sign a lot of balls when he was working for Dr. Pepper in 1938-39. They probably asked him to write the dates of his career, and without thinking about it he put 1938 since he was still working then! Send it to Keating at PSA if you really want to know. If you want more Net54 opinions, move this post over to the autograph section.
