At a glance the cards look fairly convincing. However, the close-up of the Anson and others show a fairly sloppy mating of a picture (reprint?) to a cardboard backing. I'd say with better than 99% certainty that these are reprints. HOFers selling with disclosure that they might be reprints with no refunds?!? I hate these cards & listings. The winner will likely try to prey on lesser educated hobbyists.

There are several questions that could be asked to ascertain the cards authenticity but the seller either won't have the simple tools available to answer them (loupe) or more likely will simply plead ignorance (dash the questions).

Beware.

i don't know about these because i am not even as close to as knowledgable as most all of the board members, but.....

"I'm not an expert on my husbands cards"

1. that seems like a pretty standard thing for frauds to say.

"The condition of the cards vary, though there are no creases in the cards. Galvin has a pin hole, otherwise the rest have just a little corner wear, and some chipping on them."

2. chipping and corner wear? seems like he/she knows a bit about card conditions. seems awefully shiftty to me.

3. Oh and btw i don't know anything, but hey! i got 2 Old Judge Cap Anson's to sell ya!

Could i be wrong?

Nothing but HOFers

I'M SELLING THEM AS REPRINTS

NO RETURNS

Wow, what a deal... The seller can actually feel guilt free about taking someones money for these cards because they've disclosed the fact that they are being sold as reprints...
