Default 1959 All Rookie Vote Cards

I found these 2 going through a collection I bought. I can't find much info on these and can only find one sale but it had writting. Just lookin to get get more info.

They are really rare, and I think they all have that cut in the bottom. I sold mine for $250 a year or two ago.

I have one in my collection. Yes, I think the slit is common for the issue, but it will get you a very low rating if you have it graded.

Pack inserts but also distributed by Topps through other outlets. I think I read that they were often distributed to the Boy Scouts. Voting was supposed to form the basis of the Rookie Team feated at the annual Topps Rookie Banquet and in the Topps set the following year.

There was a 1960 insert as well, same front, different back. I have the one above in my 1960 set, but I could easily be wrong about which is which. Maybe Dave Hornish knows

The 2011 SCD Standard Catalog says the 1959 issue has a date of September 29 on the back and that the 1960 issue has no date
