Default Koester, W575 Frisch

Posted By: Geno

Does anyone have a Koester Bread or W575-1 of Frank Frisch? I've seen his position on the E121 card as "2B", but I have a book with a picture of the same card with 3B on it (no picture of the back). I'm assuming the "3B" has a blank back, making it a Koester or W575-1, but I just wanted to confirm it for my own gratification! I'm trying to gradually accumulate a Koester set, so I am wondering if there are two versions of the Frisch. If somebody has an E121 Frisch with "3B" on it, I'd love to hear about that as well. Thanks for any help!

Geno

Geno,

Frank Frisch as E121s:

Series of 80 lists him as 2B
Series of 120 lists him as 3B

Ahhh...that makes sense! I didn't think that they might be different in those two sets, although it sounds obvious in retrospect. I am still curious about the blank-backed version. I assume it would be "3B" since the Standard Catalog says the Koester set is a blank-backed Series of 120. If anyone has a blank-backed Frisch (Koester/W575-1), I'd still love to hear what position it has on it. Thanks!

Geno
