Default 1967 1966 1965 Topps Hockey Back Design

Is it just me, or could Topps have been a little more creative in designing the card backs for the 1967 1966 and 1965 cards?

They get the job done. When it comes to backs, the simpler the better.

Default Back vs fronts

I read the backs and appreciate the fronts. So I am not at odds with what is on the back.

With that being said.....I am not so sure they got the 65 fronts right!!!
