Default What’s it worth?

Just got my grades back from PSA and I was surprised with a grade. As with many leaf cards, the cut is awful, but everything else is looking good. The last PSA 8 sold for $2k in 2022, would the cut kill the value on this one? It sits as the highest graded right now.

I believe that's one of those "you'll never know until you auction it off" examples.

That's a crazy miscut, even for a Leaf.

The debate among prospective bidders will come down to "eye appeal", and how somebody will weigh the importance of the registry (equivalent to a 7 I believe), and what it will look like in their set with all their other cards.

100% agree. Definitely worth the $30 I picked it up for in a value bin.

Dumb-ass me would have probably left it in the "value bin", assuming it had been chopped up with a paper cutter without checking if it actually sized up.

I didn’t want to lead the witness and divulge ALL the info. I have a soft spot for Leaf and all its printing issues. I’ve often said that my collection is the isle for misfit cards. Sugar Ray fits right in, but if I can flip it for some more money in the war chest, I’m all for it!
