Default Topps Vault 1977-78 Bob Lanier #61

I forgot I had this Topps Vault set. Should I keep it in the case Topps sent or break it out so you can see all 4 cards of the set? Do the 4 card sets bring more then single or 2 card sets? I don't know anything about these. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks D. (sorry for the poor pictures)

I'm pretty sure that there aren't 4 cards in there. Just one piece of film that was used in the color separation process. I think, but I'm not certain this was a positive used for either photographic proofing, or to make a large positive to use to make negatives to produce plates from. The print shop I worked for didn't use these, but made plates direct from the negatives. But we did small production runs. Most of our old negatives got turned in for the silver in 81. I had the job of removing them from the large plastic sheets they were taped to.

Pretty interesting production piece, like most of the topps vault stuff. And probably unique. I'd leave it in the holder. The sealing sticker is the "proof" that it came from topps directly. If you really hate the holder, it's probably not a huge deal, as the nuisance involved in making a fake one of these is considerable.
