Does anyone know of any cards of Dihigo printed before his 1945-46 Caramelo Deportivo? I've been led to believe that this is is "rookie," but are there any other earlier examples?

The 1945-46 Felices (a.k.a. "Caramelo Deportivo") is generally considered his "rookie" card, although he'd already been playing baseball professionally for over 20 years.

His actual rookie card is in the 1927-28 Mallorquina set.

This is a 1932 Dihigo card from a Venezuelan set. There are several other Dihigo's in the set. It's the earliest Dihigo card that is bigger than a postage stamp.

That's an excellent card. Do you have any more information about this set?

I don't know much about the set. What I do know is that it consists entirely of "in action" cards, it was issued over a number of years (1932-1935), it is very rare, and there are a number of Dihigo cards in the set.
