Is there any recourse if an item is damaged by the mailman shoving an item into the mail box and bending it? Luckily it was only a $10 item, but it was uninsured. |

I can't answer that question, but to solve that problem, I have been looking for a larger size mailbox to attach to our porch (that's porch, not porsche, elliot) that would accomodate things such as Old Cardboard without getting the annoying fold in them. It seems that ones that are wide aren't deep and vice versa. If anyone has an on-line link, that'd be great. |

I use these because the snow plow always runs our mailboxes over in our Northern Michigan winters. They make some large durable mailboxes. http://www.veedersmailbox.com/home.html |
