Default Were M.P. & Co. Baseball cards perforated?

I saw this on ebay and noticed that the top edge is perforated. It has been my understanding that these are strip cards that were cut apart by the store owner. Does anyone have any insight to this?

Can't find anything to indicate they were perforated, only hand cut or even torn. I would be careful with this, or pass altogether.

Default Uncut

The uncut strips I’ve seen and the one I currently own are not perforated.

I believe there were several versions of these per printing differences and someone who specializes can likely offer more. I would say the amount of existent perforated copies likely shows one printer or version of runs was perfed to help store owners.

This thread has a few perforated copies - https://www.net54baseball.com/showthread.php?t=193976

Leon has or had, a strip in that thread that looks to be perforated and there is a Dimaggio and a Feller that both clearly look perforated. Read Colton English's post about a possible 1944 set as it is interesting...perhaps that could help with a solution.

Well although it made its way into a PSA holder as a 1943 M&P it is not. It is I belive a 1944 based on the color of ink used on back and the absence of the M&P name. The color of the sky on the front of the card also is not correct for the 1943 issue. Hope this helps.

If it is indeed a 1944 issue, were they perforated?
