Default Were these worth buying and are they the correct packaging?

Posted By: Dave M

I was at a local antique store and came across these 3 cigarette packs. I wasn't sure if they were the correct types of packs that could have contained cards or felts but I bought them anyway. All 3 packs packs are about 2 1/4" by 2 7/8". Any help would be appreciated.

I think the 2 Helmar ones could have potentially had cards, depending on, if there is a stamp and "overprint" with a date that match up and all factory info is correct then they "could" have contained a baseball card. I don't think the one on the right would have held a baseball card regardless of the date. I don't know about others sports or non-sports too much and it could have contained a card of something? These Helmars usually go for $5-$50 on the open market. They are one of the more common packs relative to others that could have contained cards. Definitely worth buying but not for a lot of money.... Hope this helps some....
