The bar has been lowered to an all-time low. Has this guy no respect or ethics?
How morbid can someone get? Auctioning dirt from a grave? Seriously?

Actually, the listing says from near his grave site. Heck, it could have come from the park near the cemetary. Either way, I agree with you. Wherever the dirt came from, it is a pretty low thing to do.

Macabre is the perfect word to describe this. Sad to think that some sort of cottage industry exists for this type of thing...

Best regards,

I'm assuming that this came from the same guy that previously auctioned his own soul.

Sheesh, sketchy auction. Some people will do anything to make a buck (or, as it turns out, three). Also notable is that fact that there were 4 people who bid on this whose bids were less than $3.15 - talk about adding insult to injury...

Finally a new angle to get money in the hobby. I've told a few folks over the years I wonder how long before we start seeing families selling bones of past ball players.

Tell that guy to make a mud pie out of dat dirt, then thrust it into his face with all his might, let sit, and viola, he'll now have a classic impression. By George, that would be the "Wright" move!
