Default Worch whale in Heritage?

I was impressed by the prices of those Worch Cigar cards in Heritage last night. The Dazzy Vance went for $2500! It is perhaps the only copy known in the hobby, but still I didn't know anyone was willing to bid that high on Worches, much less two people.

The lots of 6 went for very healthy amounts too. If the winner of the lot with Manush, Vaughan, and Averill reads this, I would be interested in two of the commons from the group. Also the Babe Herman from the other lot of 6 -

(Derek, feel free to add your Vaughan-hunting message to this thread if you want to)-

Thanks much,
Tim

The price of the whale doesn't surprise me.

Yes, looking for Vaughan from that set...willing to pay handsomely for a copy, regardless of whether it’s the Heritage example or not.
