Newbie posting question regarding images

Hello all,

I know this may be considered OT, but wondered if anyone would still chip in.

When I use "insert image" in these posts (and then use an imgur url in the prompt), the image just shows as a tiny square that just brings up the image in a new window when used.

Is there something I'm doing wrong? I've seen countless posts already with either just a pasted-like image or with an "attached image" border to them, and I just want to have them come up normally like that

Hopefully this will help answer what you were asking. The random image (below) is way too big, but if you are using imgur, click in the BBC code box (shown in this screenshot)...

(On the lower right, you will see SIZE options. You can fiddle with those, too.)

...and paste that in your post and voila...

Thanks Jolly. Between this and a response in another thread, I was able to see how the code needed to be for posts here (made the adjustments and got my image to work).

Same think with Flickr - each upload image has an "embedded" code that you just copy and paste into your post.
