I decided to do something a little different and come up with a list of 10 prewar cards that are big cards or card types, not unattainable, that would be the cornerstones of a solid prewar collection. |

I'm on the nonsport side, but used to collect baseball. Some great choices, a few I'm scratching my head about. But one of my alltime favorites, that didn't make anyone's list, is the 1914 CJ (e144) Mathewson. Just picture that full body follow thru and that fierce red background. Anyone agree ? I'd feel a heck of a lot better! |

I have to agree with Richard. All the horizontal CJ's are attractive, but the Mathewson sticks out the most. Great choice. |
