Great card Chris!

I was watching it for a while, bit it quickly shot out of my price range. The T206 blank backs are showing up less and less and you picked up a great example, congrats! Steve

Nice pick up Chris.. and at a great price for $1300...

I thought that would end up between 1500-2000.

Nice one!

I got my first K-Bat card. Since I'm a set collector, I just committed myself to future poverty.

Consigned the 4 Max Stein PC's and was very pleased with the results.

Bank robbery. I've got it all figured out.

No, it can't be completed, but I'll delude myself that it can...

I thought that was a great item. McAleer was an important figure in early Red Sox history.

i picked up this lot of T206's that had clean fronts (w/ back damage). my plan is to actually crack them out and create a cool matted & framed piece, so the clean fronts were exactly what i wanted for this project...also, i was happy with my consignments, great auction Al!

Okay -- Two can play the upgrade game. Here's mine.

My question is "Could this be the Ball without ball variation?"

Who knows what he is trying to hide? He's not wearing a glove, so I suspect that he's just trying to keep his hands warm.

Bill.

I owned that card for a couple years... Glad it landed in a home/collection rather than being flipped over and over and over again...enjoy.

Glad you didn't, Jason. Saved me a few bucks Nice Sinex. Same w/you Tbob, nice pickups. While series 6 are tougher, more of them have been popping up lately it seems.

Just received my invoice this morning. BTW, beautiful K-bats Mulvey, Bill!!!

p.s. If you log into your account on the Love of the Game website, you can click a paypal button and pay that way. Just a heads up!

Bill -

Glad you picked that up! I got it from Dave years ago and fundamentally I am also a set collector so when I got to 8 it started to be dangerous and I have pared my N690s down to 3 lower grade examples. Great card and image, will miss it.

I won this Suhling Cubs championship team PC, incorrectly listed as the only one graded by SGC (SGC's fault, not LOTG). I have the other one, shown below, but notice the "Cromwell, Ind" overprint.

I happen to have won one item in the auction and am
still waiting for an invoice. I tried mailing Al, but have
not heard back from his as of yet. I know he mentioned
he was in the path of the hurricane, so I'm hoping for
the best. Has anyone received their invoice yet?

Thanks,

ErikV

Erik, go to the website and log in and then go to "my account". Hopefully you will see your invoice there along with a paypal button to make payment.

Hey Jeff, that's a great postcard. I used to own it at one time. At the time I owned it, I believed that the overprint was done by the post office. Is that possible? I think I have seen this by certain post offices and cities during that time period. But I'd have to do some more research to confirm this.
