Default Suit and Tie Affair 2019.

You know it's coming. At least one affair this year where you'll wear a suit and tie. So, let's see the gentlemen of baseball in their suits, ties, spats, hats and canes:

Default Suit and Tie Affair

It sure was a suit and tie affair on Sept. 28`th 1920 at the Cooks County court house. This is a nice shot of Joe Jackson just moments before 1`st testifying that yes "we took monies from the gamblers". He and Eddie Cicotte got the whole Black Sox investigation rolling that very day and the rest as they say, is history.

I think so, too. Thanks Nat.

This photo is on the back page of my Toot Shor Restaurant menu (circa 1951).

I haven't any luck in my search as to what event these 13 famous HOFer's and Arlie Latham were gathering for at Toots Shor.

Ted, happy that I was able to help. It is fun being able to share something new with someone who knows as much as you do!

Jim, I have a RPPC of Elmer Busch from his Carlisle days, it would be cool if they had the same background (but they don't).

I love this photo of the Dimaggio boys and wish I could find one somewhere. I'm a history buff, so I love anything with old, original advertising on it.

Where do you find photos like this? I'd love to get my hands on some. Do you just buy on ebay? Or where?
