I love the uniqueness of the REA auctions.

Anyone here win the 1879 Springfield baseball team picture (with all the historic players? )

Thanks everyone. I'm super excited to get it. Joe, I understand. I just don't tell my wife what I buy anymore. Figured what she doesn't know won't hurt her.....or my collecting needs.

I was an underbidder on that Mikita. Great card.

Hi Ken -

It wasn’t me (this time around). I’ve been focusing more on individual cards/photos and am trying to avoid the team PCs and photos, but, as always, there are exceptions. Nice pick-up!

I grabbed the OJ Clark Griffith rookie. It’s been a huge hole in my collection for far too long and the contrast was pretty decent for that card.

Default Taking a chance

Just taking a very wild chance that someone here won the 1866 Nationals/Excelsiors cabinet card. It sold with only the initial bid and it is possible someone placed an early bid but won enough other items they wished someone else had bid. I know, a big long shot, but if the owner wants to see if we can work out a mutually agreeable arrangement, please pm me. I also have some 19th century things that might be of interest in any deal. Thanks
Worth a shot

I was quite taken with LOT # 1602, the 1962 Post Cereal Alpha-Bits single serving box with Sandy Koufax on the back. With the juice, that little gem took in $11,400. Both the box itself and the Koufax card alone were in exceptional condition (translation.... Near Mint / Mint). I'm neither the consignor nor the buyer, just an admirer! --- Brian Powell
