Is this a real Brooklyn bum nodder?

Default dodger bobblehead?

I have never seen this before. Nor have I ever seen the bum looking like that. Maybe a bobbin head but NOT a Brooklyn Dodger

Gee, it's not at all deceiving to surround the nodder with Brooklyn Pennants and even to place one in his hand.... How convenient!

The sad thing is that someone a bit less seasoned and more impressionable will probably buy this. I am 99% sure that the hand originally held one of those "Tied Handkerchiefs" on a stick. Hobos like this were big in the '60s, and were portrayed in cheap paintings, bed sheets, underwear, pajamas.... virtually everywhere. This is almost certainly a generic Hobo Nodder, magically transformed into a baseball piece.

They have been selling those for years. No telling how many they have.

Just a generic piece like others have mentioned with no ties to the Dodgers whatsoever. Like Perezfan said, nice props in the background.

So this is probably fake to. Looks so real with his backdrop!

I don't believe the nodder is a fake, I just don't believe it has any direct ties to the Dodgers. It is probably vintage, but post Brooklyn.
