Default New members

I just want to welcome all of our new members recently. The last several months our new membership registrations have spiked up a bit. So far this month we have had 107 new members register. Also, for all of you new guys, please check out our "community" tab with folders for your cards and other scans. One other thing that can really help. If you find yourself, once logged in, having to scroll through too many pages in threads, you can go to your User Control Panel (User CP) and set the number of posts, in a thread and per page to 80, from the default of 10. It makes reading threads much more enjoyable. Any questions on operations please post here and we will get them answered. Once again, welcome to all.

I agree, moderating how much time you spend on the forums here is quite important, especially to your own sanity at times.

But honestly, Leon does do a great job as moderator so kudos to Leon.

Leon is a disciplined moderator and a huge reason the board remains in control. Everynow and then I get angry at the attitudes but all in all this is a fantastic place with top notch people. I work non-stop and one thing that helps me get through long nights or days is the ability to open up the Net54 tab and get a breather. Thanks for what you do for us Leon.

You guys are certainly welcome. It is my pleasure to try to maintain some semblance of order.

The stats remind me of an old joke that went something like this....

An economist is someone who can stick his feet in fire, stick his head in a freezer, and be reasonably comfortable .

99% of the members need no moderation. It's the other 11% that cause all the headaches.

Being new to the board I would like to thank everyone who participates. I strongly believe and recommend anyone who is collecting join or read the information posted in all categories on Net54. The value of the information is priceless. There are so many knowledgeable people that contribute and share expert opinions who volunteer the knowledge in order to make the Hobby what it started out to be, collect have fun and enjoy the history associated with sports. Thanks again Paulanthony.
