Default UD autographed balls

I am collecting NY Yankees autographed balls and I am just wondering if anyone can shed some light on the UD balls from quite a few years ago, I think 1990's. The ones with the red, orange and green boxes, and the little felt bags and the UD authenticity card signed by Bruce McNall.

Is there any issue with these being a problem authenticity wise? Any known fakes, are there some players autos that might be suspect? Thanks for your help.

I was always under assumption UDA was known to be legit as far as autographs go thats why they command a higher price. That being said the stickers I have seen fall off so if someone was creative enough to place on a forged ball and sell it that way I suppose you could be concerned about that. But as far as I know UDA had a good reputation.

The one thing that sucks about the older UDA hologram stickers is that UD can't confirm them in their system. It seems anything that is "older"...like pre-2002 or so...you won't be able to find it in their database and when you call or email them, they won't be able to confirm it. Somebody really screwed up over there in managing their database/verification system. Makes you think UD just slapped on hologram stickers and issued numbers with them without ever keeping track of them.

I second that. There was a Jordan UDA I was interested in but the number wasn't in the system.
