Default Can you ID these pictures/cards?

These measure 1 1/2" x 2 1/8" and have a glossy finish and blank back. Any clues as to what they are?
Thanks for any help.

They look to be authentic and period, but I cannot tell for sure. They may be a Toledo Mudhens team issue, although I did not find it catalogued. If period, it would have been from the mid 30-s, as all 4 of those players/manager were on the MudHens during that time. Smoll only played for them in 1936, however, which might pin it down, but it looks like his card has a different typeface/font than the others, so maybe these were issued more than once.

Neat looking items.

My guess would be a team issue by the Toledo Mud Hens or a local Toledo store. Just find a roster with those players to find the year.

Smoll appears to be from the same set. With the dark jacket, his card just seems to look different becuase the name plate stands out more.

Hi Richard...
Nice cards and they look like Mudhens..They are not in the 2005 Krause guide. These appear to be uncataloged.. My main collecting interest is vintage minor league cards... If you are looking to sell I would be interested...they would fit nice in my collection..
Best
Dick

Thanks for your help on these. I did purchase a large, terrific collection of 1930's autographs and these were a part of it. So the 1930's Toledo characterization certainly seems to be the right one.
