Default My T206 Highlander Collection

Posted By: David B

Hi,
I have been putting together a T206 Highlander team set and finally got around to scanning all the cards. To be in my set it either had to grade a 6 or have a uncommon back. If it had a rare back it had to grade at least a 2. Only 3 cards don't follow the rules, always looking to upgrade them. My favorite cards are the PSA 4 Hal Chase Blue Port. Piedmont 460 Factory 42 and the SGC 70 Chase Dark Cap Sovereign 460. I have an example of all 3 Sovereign's, all 3 American Beauty's, Uzit, Brown Hindu, both Cycle's, Tolstoi, EPDG and others. Many of the cards have none graded higher with their front/back combo. Thanks to many board members for helping me put this togehter. Please have a look at the link below. Thanks for allowing me to share these here, my family looks at me with a sad blank stare when I show them.

David B.

I took a few minutes & looked at your cards. Nice job. Its a very nice display. One question though, now what is your next T206 goal? Just curious, because I too am working on a T206 team set myself (not of the Highlanders). I have found that it seems to be the same players always appearing, but in a way I guess that makes it fun & more rewarding when it is finally complete.

Nice cards

Jantz

Congratulations David. That's really a great collection and the variety of backs and the grades are really impressive.

Besides to keep upgrading the set, I have been thinking about doing the same thing with the T206 Red Sox team or doing a Yankee T205 team set. I'm going to have to wait a while to recover some funds though.

Thanks for sharing your cards, that's a great collection. I'm seen that same sad blank stare.

warning: there is a high-profile lawyer from NYC that will make you an offer, that you can't refuse, on the Hal Chase cards...

when he does...run!

Thanks to everybody for the kind words.

Thanks Mike for the warning lol

I've been waiting for a couple of board members to sale thier Chase Blue Portraits. The Red Hindu back and the Ghost/Blank front are some of my favorite T206's I have seen. I would love to have them in my collection but sure there is a long line of people that would to.

Jeff - I dont mind you looking at my backs but don't touch (insert smiley here)

Hey David,

Thanks for sharing the scans...I just recently bought a Chase w/ Trophy from you off the bay for my Highlander set and can't wait to add the rest of Chase's cards from the set.

Best to you,

Shawn
